Prepare the Blueberry Filling: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Cook for about 5 minutes until the blueberries start to release their juices and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Make the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Assemble the Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a flat surface and separate it into triangles. Add a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle and top with a few spoonfuls of the blueberry mixture.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the crescent rolls towards the point, sealing the filling inside. Ensure the ends are tucked in slightly to prevent leaking.

Brush with Egg Wash: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake the Rolls: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
