2 cups crushed vanilla wafer cookies

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups milk

1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

Extra banana slices and vanilla wafers for garnish

Crust Preparation: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed vanilla wafer cookies and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form a crust. Set aside.

    Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.

      Whipped Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

        Layering: Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Layer half of the sliced bananas on top and half of the instant vanilla pudding mix. Repeat with the remaining cream cheese mixture, more banana slices, and the rest of the pudding.

          Chill: Cover and refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or until it is firm and set.

            Serve: Once set, carefully remove the sides of the springform pan. Top with the whipped topping and garnish with additional banana slices and whole vanilla wafers for decoration.
