Zutaten

1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 ripe bananas, sliced

1 package (12 oz) vanilla wafers

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon banana extract (optional)

Shaved dark chocolate for garnish

Anleitungen

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.

Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined. If you're using banana extract, mix it in at this stage for an extra banana flavor.

In a separate bowl, slice the bananas and toss them gently to prevent browning.

In a third bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until combined. Reserve the other half for topping.

In a trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer the vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of the pudding mixture, sliced bananas, and then another layer of vanilla wafers. Repeat this layering until you reach the top.

Use the reserved whipped cream to top the final layer of pudding. Garnish with shaved dark chocolate for a touch of elegance.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight to let the flavors meld and the wafers soften.
