Prepare the Filling: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and slightly caramelized.

Cook the Steak: Increase the heat to medium-high, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the skillet, and season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through, stirring occasionally.

Melt the Cheese: Once the steak is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Layer the provolone cheese slices over the steak and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid for about 2-3 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.

Assemble the Sliders: While the cheese is melting, slice the slider buns in half. If desired, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise or aioli on the cut sides of the buns. Scoop a generous amount of the cheesesteak filling onto the bottom halves of the slider buns.

Bake the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and cover them with aluminum foil. Bake for 10 minutes to warm everything through and toast the buns slightly.

Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and carefully remove the foil. Place the top halves of the buns over the filling. Cut the sliders apart and serve warm.
