Pizza Toasts

4 thick slices of sourdough bread

1 cup marinara sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup pepperoni slices

1 small bell pepper, diced

¼ cup black olives, sliced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Olive oil for drizzling

Anleitungen
 

Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).

    Arrange the sourdough slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

      Brush one side of each slice lightly with olive oil for extra crispiness.

        Spread a generous tablespoon of marinara sauce on the non-oiled side of each toast.

          Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce-covered toasts.

            Add a layer of pepperoni slices, followed by diced bell peppers and black olives on top.

              Sprinkle garlic powder and dried oregano over the toppings for extra flavor.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

                  Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes.

                    Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve hot.
